Bio

Andrew Kierszenbaum studied piano at the Colburn School in Los Angeles before attending the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to study music. In addition to performing and specializing in Late Romantic/Early Contemporary repertoire, Andrew composes original music for film and TV. 

Andrew interned under film composers Joseph Trapanese, Brian Tyler, and Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) before working with Riot Games, where he created an original song for a League of Legends promotional event. His composition/production, “Bit Rush,” was featured on the League of Legends login screen and has amassed over 4 million views (https://youtu.be/BO3XLE_eRPk). Andrew has gone on to compose for the hit Riot Games-produced Netflix original series “Arcane.”

Andrew is also an accomplished songwriter, having co-written songs with Sting, Shaggy, and Afrojack. He has also accompanied Shaggy and Jamaican artist Conkarah on their appearance on ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Ryan” show, performing their hit “Banana” (over 2 billion streams to date).

Andrew specializes in composing for the piano and performing those pieces live.
